Amy Schumacher is the Chief Executive Officer of The Heritage Group, overseeing the company’s more than 20 operating businesses and 3,000 employees. Schumacher joined The Heritage Group as a Board Trustee in 2005. In 2008, she started Monument Chemical, the group’s specialty chemicals business where she served as President for eight years, leading the strategy and financial management of the company’s operations in the U.S. and Europe.
Schumacher earned her bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and an MBA from the Sloan School of Management at MIT. She serves as a member of the Calumet Specialty Products board of directors and is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization. Schumacher and her husband, Jim, live in Indianapolis and have two daughters.
